Sarmiento Family Reunion/Baby Shower

Since Ate Pia, Ate Cindy, and I are all expecting around the same time. The Sarmiento Family has been planning a get-together/baby shower for us. They are all gathering from everywhere, i.e. Northern California, East Coast, Southeast Asia. It'll be so much fun and tons of food. I'm looking forward to having my family stay over at our new place, which just got practically furnished. The Lord has been so sweet to provide us with the basic items in time for this weekend. He also has been a rich supply through the brothers & sisters' prayers and the word. Will post details of the house soon.

36th Week

Yesterday, I had my regular OB/GYN appointment and NST appointment following. The doctor gave me my first vaginal examination to see if I've dilated, which wasn't the case. Whew! I'm ready for her yet. He actually could feel her head on the other side, so she is low. So far so good. He said I'm where I'm supposed to be, head down, heartbeat sounded great and the NST appointment also went well (regular heart rate and amniotic fluid). However, he did measure my uterus which didn't fall under regular/typical size (cm = weeks. The only concern is that my uterus measured a little low. Early on in my pregnancy an ultra-sound indicated something "suspicious" about a circular object by the umbilical chord. Thus, he wanted to take the precaution of ordering another ultra-sound, more detailed than regular NST screenings. He wants to find out if the baby is growing at a normal rate, if not then there may be a need for possible induction. Oh Lord we just give You the delivery of this baby. Keep her healthy for the sake of Your Body. She belongs to You.

Lamazze Class @ Kaiser - July13

Tonight we'll be attending our 3rd class for childbirth preparation. It has been quite interesting for the both of us. We're barely doing breathing routines but getting a lot of important information tips to somewhat ease the whole experience of natural delivery. I'm on my 35th week and still due on Aug. 16th. Hee-Hee-Oooooooh. Hee-Hee-Oooooooh. Also, I need to get a birthing ball. They're supposedly helpful in opening up the passageway for the baby.

Mom & Dad Came to Visit - July 10th

Yesterday, I dropped my parents off at John Wayne. They helped Philip and me tremendously. Not only did they drive down to SoCal to deliver us a vanload of Anna's hand-me-downs, but they also helped us finish moving out of our apartment into our new home. We've received so many things from the saints and family. We thank the Lord for His bountiful supply and provision in the Body.
